Health Education Training - CPR/First Aid/AED

HTH medical courses incorporate the latest science and teach students to recognize and care for a variety of first aid emergencies such as burns, cuts, scrapes, sudden illnesses, head, neck, back injuries, heat and cold emergencies and how to respond to breathing and cardiac emergencies for victims.


 Successful students will receive a certificate valid for one - two years.


 

Certificates offered through the American Red Cross or American Heart Association

CPR/AED Professional

To train professional-level rescuers to respond to breathing and cardiac emergencies in adults, children and infants until more advanced medical personnel take over.



This course has been updated to meet the ECC 2010 guidelines.

First Aid/Professional & Laymen

HTH incorporates the latest science and meets OSHA guidelines. Students learn to recognize & care for a variety of first aid emergencies such as burns, cuts, scrapes, sudden illnesses, head, neck, back injuries, heat/cold emergencies.


Successful students will receive a certificate valid for two years.

Adult CPR/First Aid/AED

HTH incorporates the latest science and teaches students to recognize and care for a variety of first aid emergencies such as burns, cuts, scrapes, sudden illnesses, head, neck, back injuries, heat and cold emergencies and how to respond to breathing and cardiac emergencies for victims about 12 years and older.



Successful students will receive a certificate valid for two years.

Adult/Child/Infant CPR/FA/AED

 HTH incorporates the latest science and teaches students to recognize and care for a variety of first aid emergencies such as burns, cuts, scrapes, sudden illnesses, head, neck, back injuries, heat and cold emergencies and how to respond to breathing and cardiac emergencies to help victims of any age - adults (about 12 years and older) and pediatric (infants and children up to 12 years of age.


Successful students will receive a certificate valid for two years.

Adult CPR/AED

The Adult CPR/AED course incorporates the latest science and teaches students how to respond to breathing and cardiac emergencies for victims about 12 years and older.


Students who successfully complete this course will receive a certificate for Adult CPR/AED valid for two years.

Citizens CPR

The purpose of the American Red Cross Citizen CPR course is to teach untrained bystanders how to perform hands-only CPR. Having more citizen bystanders trained in this simple skill can help save lives by putting more cardiac arrest victims within a few steps of lifesaving assistance.

Administering Oxygen

 Administering Emergency Oxygen course is to give participants the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care to a victim of a breathing emergency using breathing devices, including resuscitation masks, bag-valve-mask resuscitators (BVMs) and emergency oxygen.

Asthma Inhaler/Epinephrine

This course will teach you the signs and symptoms of anaphylaxis and how to care for a person having a severe allergic reaction, including how to administer epinephrine using an auto-injector device.


Bloodborne Pathogens

Designed for those who are at risk for on the job exposure to blood and other bodily fluids in the workplace. The course teaches staff how bloodborne pathogens are spread, how to avoid exposure and what to do if exposed to infectious material.


 This course is one of the requirements of the OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens Standard.

 In addition to this training, you should meet with your employer representative so he/she can inform you about specific policies and procedures and answer questions about how this training content applies to your workplace.


Upon completion students receive a certification valid for one year.
